Emergency Department

The Jordan Hospital Emergency Department is a Level 3 department (the highest level), accepting all emergency cases 24/7, where specialized emergency doctors are available with full and immediate support for all different medical cases. The department strictly follows protocols set by international authorities and associations, which are considered the standard of medical practices, to provide the best outcomes for our patients.

Our emergency department nurses help patients receive the appropriate medical care they need without any delay, and the department includes general, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, internal medicine, and orthopedics units. In addition, there are dedicated cardiac and trauma rooms, equipped with the latest technologies to treat life-threatening conditions.

The obstetrics and gynecology unit provides emergency care for the mother and fetus, and monitoring in the emergency room, which is staffed by our specialized doctors and cadre. In addition, the pediatrics unit, which is managed by our pediatricians, ensures a comfortable journey for our young patients with highly trained pediatric emergency nurses. Full support from our experienced medical teams is immediately available upon request to the emergency department to diagnose and treat all patients. The radiology department is also located next to our emergency department to facilitate any required diagnostic imaging. In addition, the laboratory and pharmacy receive patients 24/7 to ensure full medical support is provided to emergency department patients.

Jordan Hospital is proud to be the first hospital in the Kingdom to have a helipad for the air transport of medical emergency cases.
