We spare no effort to support and motivate all our nurses to be highly productive and successful in their specialties. However, it should be known that our efforts alone are not reasonable enough; nurses need to show their interest, desire, and readiness for growth and development. We do not hesitate to say that nursing is not a profession for anyone. Therefore,  we are selective in choosing and employing our nurses.

Education & Training:

Floors & Units:

The nursing director is a registered nurse, qualified administratively and technically with extensive experience. The nursing department supervises and guides the nursing functions in five floors and other specialized units as detailed below:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU): We provide this unit with the numbers and quality of experienced critical care nurses that are competent and skillful in treating all groups of patients in severe, critical conditions. The unit has two subunits, ICU (12 beds), CCU (9 beds).

Neonatal ICU:

We believe every newborn deserves a good start in life and a safe place to grow. Our nurses in this unit are trained to deal with premature babies with low birth weight and provide critical care as needed to each case.

The unit has 22 beds.

Emergency unit

This unit provides emergency medical treatment for patients who come to this unit in urgent cases. This unit has skillful nurses who are qualified to deal with and assist in providing initial treatment for a wide range of illnesses, injuries, accidents that require immediate attention and care. One of the main functions of this unit is to assess the priority of cases based on clinical need and urgency degree and providing immediate assistance and care to the patient. The unit operates 24 hours a day.

  • Endoscopy, Lithotripsy, Catheterization, ECG, Respiratory Therapy, Day Case, Hemodialysis, in charge nurse of cancer, infection control nurse.

Clinical & Nursing Administrations

The substantial growth developments in the health field have increased the demand for qualified nurse administrations nursing; administration goes beyond clinical practice, knowledge, and experience to include skills leadership, management, human and financial resources, policies, etc.; in brief, nursing administration combines management with patient care.

Allied Health

Allied Health is another important section in the health care field. This line is making developments and successes in its various specialties. Allied health professionals are neither doctors nor nurses but after work with multi.

Disciplinary health team to provide skillful work to serve patient care and outcomes. Many professions in this sector are increasing in numbers with better results and outcomes, i.e., audiologist, exercise physiologist, dietitian, medical imaging occupation therapist, social worker, etc.

Case Management

It is a collaborative process where case managers, certified, assist patients in difficult health conditions. They pass the required education. Skills, experience, and compassion, they assess patient needs advice, identified service resources and service facilitation, create plans for treatment, recovery, and follow-up case progress. (Nurse Practitioner & Physicians Assistants)

Advanced Practice

Both nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA) perform advanced essential roles in the health care field. They hold advanced degrees and certifications to provide higher levels of treatment under the physician’s side supervision. In recent years, in advanced countries, professionals in both roles (NP&PA) have gained a greater independence level in practicing their work. In coming years the world shall witness more demand for these jobs to cover the needs and shortages in health field services.

To ensure excellence in nurses' performance, we are keen to continue promoting a healthy environment for a long learning process.

In conducting our training programs, we guide and train our nurses on how to blend the art of caring with the modern advancement in nursing and technology. We train our nurses to serve each patient's unique needs with respect t his privacy, dignities, and values—our nursing staff act, not only as care providers but as advocates in their rights and duties.

The supervision of education at JH prepares a training plan from every year in cooperation with head nurses in all sections and units to meet their special nursing needs. Follow-up and evaluation are conducted to measure success and introduce essential and changes as required.

Nursing students studying at Jordan universities and colleagues are always welcomed to be trained at JH. We encourage and support our nursing staff to join and participate in local conferences, services, workshops.

This unit has two subunits, ICU (12 beds), CCU (9 beds).
We believe every newborn deserves a good start in life and a safe place to grow. Our nurses in this unit are trained to deal with premature babies with low birth weight and provide critical care as needed to each case.

The unit has 20 incubators. Operation theater unit comprises three sub-units, recovery, CSSD, and operating rooms with in-charge for each one.
This unit provides emergency medical treatment for patients who come to this unit without prior appointment by ambulance or on their responsibility. This unit has skillful nurses who can deal with and assist in providing initial treatment for a wide range of illnesses, injuries, i.e., accidents that require immediate attention and care. One of the primary essential functions in this unit is assessing cases based on clinical need and urgency degree and providing immediate assistance and coming to the patient. This unit operates 24 hours a day.
Endoscopy, Catheterization, ECG, Respiratory, Therapy, Day Case, Haemodialysis, charge nurse of cancer cases, infection controls nurse, and pain management nurse.
