| Department of Pediatrics
The services provided are the following :
-Pediatric ward: the ward admits sick children whatever their medical
condition is
-Pediatric intensive care: this division admits very sick older
children that need special care and monitoring or respiratory devices and has special trained staff
for this purpose.
-Neonatal intensive care: this division caters for all the medical
problems and diseases of the full term newborn as well as the premature N.B. such as congenital
deformities, sepsis, severe metabolic disorders, prematurity, ….etc.
-Normal nursery: neonatal care for healthy newborn babies .
-Out-patient clinics which provide services for children who do not
need admission to hospital .
