Provide the service for all medical and surgical specialties within the hospital, to include the Intensive Care Unit, and chronic Pain Management, as we a run a daily clinic.

The department is recognized for training purposes for Jordanian council and the Arab Board of Medical Specialties in a 4 years residency program, as we have 7 doctors in training so far.

The department follows a tight scientific program, as we run a daily morning report followed by a lecture for residents teaching. We have too a monthly evening journal club, sponsored by drug companies outside the hospital. The department has it own library including electronic library, and subscribed to the major anaesthetic journals.

The department is heavily involved in the scientific meetings locally, nationally and internationally, in both participation and presentations.

The department is interested in research all times, we have published some papers, and we are preparing for other papers waiting to be published.
