We Truly Care
Our path to success:
In practicing our nursing profession, we blend the art of caring with the scientific accomplishments in nursing and technology.
Our nurses, in simple words, are the heartbeat of the health team, and our policies and standards are the cornerstone in our work
We keep following up new specialties originating in nursing and we, recently, added pain management nurse.
We understand that nursing is not a profession for every one. Therefore, we are selective in employing only those who are able to carry the mission.
Nursing at JH is not only a job with good financial package but a profession in a healthy supportive environment with future too.
Our nurses are keen to serve the special needs of every patient with special respect to his privacy, dignity and values.
Our nursing staff acts not only as care providers to patients but advocates too i.e. educating them on their specified rights and duties.
JCI Accreditation was granted to JH in June 2007. Accordingly, we implement JH policies, in our nursing practice, to meet international quality standards and National Accreditation for patient care.
Earlier, all our nursing activities were implemented in accordance with ISO 9000:2000 which started in 1998 and was up graded in 2002.
We believe safe staffing saves life. Therefore, we ensure the proper mix of nurses in number and quality in every specialty in accordance with international ratios.
To accomplish JH objectives, nurses, doctors and others work together as one team, in providing comprehensive care to patients and to winning their confidence and satisfaction.
Committed to promote and observe the ethics of the nursing profession and to maintain the professional conduct of our staff during and after working hours.
Education and Training
Educational and training activities are on the head of our priorities to maintain competent nursing staff with modern skills and updated knowledge.
An annual training plan is set up by the supervisor of education in cooperation with all sections and units to meet department needs.
We honor distinguished trainees and regularly measure the success of our training programs to introduce required modifications.
We support and encourage our colleagues in conducting nursing research activities and facilitate their mission.
We welcome and accept nursing students studying at local universities and nursing colleges to be trained at JH.
The nursing department is keen to participate in nursing activities organized in Jordan i.e. conferences, seminars and international occasions i.e. international nurses day…etc..
